从2000年起，沙溪镇与中国服装协会、中国服装设计师联手举办一 年一度的中山国际休闲服装节暨中国休闲服装博览会。服装节的经贸成果一年比一年显著。以服装 节为推动，对吸引一批投资项目，促进一批企业上等级、创出一批名牌、发展一批新客户的" 四个一批"和推动名厂、名师、名牌"三名"工程发挥了十分重要的作用。现在我镇 已拥有服装品牌72个，散布全国各地的服装专卖店3200多家。 其中"剑龙"、"柏仙多格"两个牌子还荣获2004年度广东省名牌产品称号。除 了沙溪藉的中国首席服装设计师张肇达外，著名设计师武学伟、房莹、王玉涛、马达礼等亦落户沙溪。
Shaxi Town has been hosting the annual Zhongshan International Casual Dress Festival and the China Casual Dress Expo since the year of 2000 jointly with CNDA and Chinese fashion designers. The festival's contribution to the trading activities are becoming more and more obvious year by year, where new investment projects are being introduced, companies enlarged and upgraded, famous brands promoted, and most important of all, new customers developed together with fashion designers and new brands pop up. Currently, the town owns 72 famous clothing brands and over 3,200 franchising store across the country, among which, Jianlong and Feel 100% are the two famous ones that were awarded as Famous Products in Guangdong Province in 2004. In addition to the top fashion designer Mr. Zhao Shada, who was born in Shaxi, many renowned designers have also set up studios in Shaxi, including Wu Xuewei, Fang Ying, Wang Yutao, Ma Dali and etc
